Thank you for visiting my site! My name is Larisa Pomescikova. I am a passionate designer and always looking for beauty and harmony in everything. Originally from Latvia, now working out of Northern California and bringing a European sensibility to my client homes and businesses.

You are most likely wondering: "Who is this person?" and "How can she help me to create a beautiful home?" Well, I could charm you with my international experience and impressive collaborations. But first, I want to take you on a journey and tell you a little bit about me and how my experiences have shaped my approach towards design. Growing up, Latvia was still part of the Soviet Union. From that, I learned how to be creative and efficient with very few resources. I was a good student. I played the piano and was active in sports, but my father introduced me to art - and around age 15, I chose an artistic career. After graduating from art school as a decorator, I continued to study interior design at the Art Academy of Latvia. Then, in the last year of my studies, I started working in a respected design showroom in the capital city, Riga. And soon after, in 2000, I set up my own interior design business and have been running it ever since.

I started with smaller tasks like bathroom and kitchen remodeling. Step by step, clients approached us with designing more complex projects: custom-built houses, restaurants, offices, and even casinos and nightclubs. Of course, to deliver a remarkable design, I had to build a great team, and together, we have created over 200 hundred unique projects - new builds and renovations. All drawings and sketches were made by hand on a large drafting board when I started. But right after receiving our first significant income, we invested in programs and computers. Today, technology plays a crucial role in delivering our work successfully, but I still enjoy sketching by hand as it is the quickest way to show my ideas. Since early childhood, I watched my mother create beautiful gardens. Later in life, I took a great interest in landscape design, which led me to plant and develop several gardens. Over time, my clients started asking to design their yards, and it has evolved into our landscape design services. For me, it's all about achieving balance in the composition - regardless of whether it's indoors or outdoors - a good layout is everything!

I have been fortunate to visit many different countries, cities, showrooms, factories, and exhibitions. I have learned how artisans make authentic silk rugs in Nepal, how luxurious Loro Piana fabrics come to life, and how Dornbracht faucets are built. I love partnering with artists to create unique pieces for our designs. All of the above gives me an understanding of real value, quality, and beauty.

When a new client approaches me with an idea or project, I especially enjoy the moment of communication! It is an exceptional privilege to get to know the story of their life and dreams. During our partnership, I feel personally responsible for taking that narrative and gently elevating it to a new level! I love to help my clients exceed their expectations! It brings true satisfaction and happiness to me!
